Etajima island is located in the opposite shore from Hiroshima city which declared the world peace city.
Before W.W.Ⅱ, the headquarter of the navy was settled here and many ruins of that are remained in this island.
Historically, there have been the artificial canal and temporary imperial palace almost 1,000 years ago.
We are planning the hub center of the emergency with the shelter against nuclear in this historical area which Yuho – Boseki factory had been built. Usually, it is used an the peace learning park, station of the ocean and road. In emergency, it will be the hub headquarter having the shelter for 4,000 people can stay. Through the network of Setonaikai- sea, products for the emergency will be delivered to other emergency facilities by ships.
