This is the project to re-design whole one river as an infrastructure of the sightseeing with the change of four seasons.
In Meiji era, Megurogawa – river had contributed to the modernization of Tokyo so that the national glass factories were built along this river. It is very famous for cherry blossom seeing in spring nowadays, however there are not so many people coming to this river for other seasons and places.
That’s why, we connect Sangen-tyaya and Taishi-do area which this river is culvert with Shinagawa-jyuku area by plants ,festivals and events depending on four seasons. And then, we promote people want to visit somewhere along this river in the whole season.
People can go this river by ships from Tokyo bay to the middle point of the river and watch up cherry blossom and the town scape from the surface of the river water.
